While DAH primarily serves residents living in communities managed by the Discovery Senior Living family of companies, its services extend beyond these communities. Today, the organization offers a comprehensive range of care, including Part A services, Part B services, and Private Duty services.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting a positive and friendly environment
  • Administer medications, as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients
  • Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings, as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided

Requirements:
  • 40 Hr Certificate, Active HHA 75 hour certificate, CNA license (Required)
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
  • Must have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must have a current CPR certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skill proficiency. Ability to use Microsoft Windows
