Commercial Handyman — Built on Experience Not Excuses

Company Van • Monday through Friday • Steady Year Round Work • Work With a Team That Respects Skilled Tradesmen and Tradeswomen

Some people know one trade.

We're looking for someone who knows how to get the job done.

If you've spent 20 years or more working on commercial buildings offices retail stores restaurants medical offices churches or industrial spaces then you already know what this job takes.

You know how to solve problems.

You know how to work around customers and employees.

You know that every repair reflects on the business you're working for.

That's the kind of person we're looking for at Mr. Handyman of Northern Virginia.

This isn't new construction.

This isn't standing on the same project for six months.

Every day is different. One stop might be replacing doors and hardware. The next could be repairing drywall installing ceiling tile fixing trim replacing fixtures or knocking out a punch list before a tenant moves in.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work on a wide variety of commercial repair and maintenance projects including:

Finish carpentry and trim work

Drywall repair painting and patch work

Commercial door and hardware repairs

Ceiling tile and grid repairs

Light plumbing repairs

Light electrical repairs

Flooring and tile repairs

Tenant improvements and punch lists

General building maintenance and repairs

Have 20 years or more of hands-on commercial construction maintenance or repair experience

Can work confidently across several trades especially carpentry

Know how to troubleshoot without someone standing over your shoulder

Show up on time and keep your word

Have a valid driver's license

Own your everyday hand tools
