Job description

Envision Innovative Solutions is a trusted technology and engineering partner delivering mission critical capabilities to government and commercial clients. Founded in 2006, we specialize in cybersecurity, information assurance, systems engineering, enterprise IT and network support, C5ISR, and software development, with internal R&D in extended reality (XR)-including VR, AR, and MR-for training and simulation.
Envision is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Senior Test Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This is onsite position.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Plans and administers environmental, operational, or performance tests on aeronautical, electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, general industrial, experimental, automotive equipment, industrial machinery and equipment, controls, and systems, and other products and systems.
  • Designs and directs engineering and technical personnel in fabrication of testing and test-control apparatus and equipment.
  • Positions covered by this definition are characterized by the inclusion of work that requires an understanding of both theories and principles.
  • Coordinates and directs engineering activities concerned with the development, procurement installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, telemeter, record, and reduce test data.
  • Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
  • Directs and exercises control over operational, functional, and performance phases of tests.
  • Confers with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing problems, such as product or systems malfunctions, incomplete test data, and data interpretations considering such factors as conditions under which test was conducted and instrumentation, procedures, and phase of test used to obtain and record data.
  • Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by engineering and management personnel.

Required Skills:
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience testing.
  • Strong experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering and technical teams to develop, execute, and validate test procedures.

Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field

Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Active Secret with the ability to obtain TS-SCI.
The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000.00-$155,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
