Full Time | Evenings | Tuesday - Saturday from 1pm - 8pm

Responsibilities of an Assisted Living Cook:
  • Review menus prior to preparation of food.
  • Assure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established Health Department regulations.
  • Assist with food preparation to ensure meals are prepared on time and in accordance with planned menus.
  • Serve meals that are presentable and appetizing in appearance.
  • Serve meals in accordance with Saint Elizabeth Court established portion control guidelines.
  • Coordinate dining service with other departments as necessary.

Qualifications for an Assisted Living Cook:
  • High School diploma
  • One year of food service dietary experience.
  • Able to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
  • Must be able to prepare a variety of foods in different quantities.
  • Must be able to interact effectively with residents and staff.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must have knowledge of dietary procedures, as well as related Health Department regulations and guidelines pertaining to food service operations.
