Part-Time Employment Trainer | Job Coach 

Help others succeed while building a rewarding career!

Aptiv is looking for a compassionate, dependable Part-Time Employment Trainer to provide one-on-one job coaching and support for individuals with disabilities at community worksites. If you're passionate about helping others gain independence and employment skills, we'd love to have you join our team!

Schedule & Pay
  • $16.35/hour

  • Part-Time: 20-25 hours per week

  • Flexible schedule

  • Primarily Monday-Friday days, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one job coaching at community worksites.

  • Teach workplace skills including punctuality, communication, appropriate workplace behavior, and job duties.

  • Support participants as they learn new jobs and gradually build independence.

  • Assist with transportation when needed and teach safe travel and pedestrian skills.

  • Communicate with employers and Aptiv staff to support participant success.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Valid driver's license preferred

  • Reliable transportation with required insurance

  • Basic understanding of individuals with disabilities or willingness to learn

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays

Experience in caregiving, human services, education, customer service, coaching, or as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) is a plus—but we will train the right candidate!
