Job Title: CDL Class A Driver – Local Delivery Driver
Location: Rochester, NY

**THIS IS A 6 - 8 week assignment that is covering for a medical leave, could potentially go perm**
Pay:

  • $27.00/hr


Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • Start time: 6:00 AM
  • Typically 8.5–9 hour workdays


Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate automatic Class A tractor trailers (32'–53' International and Freightliner trucks with liftgates)
  • Deliver paper products, floor scrubbers, sweepers, vacuums, wide-format printers, and packaging materials
  • Complete approximately 15–18 delivery stops per day
  • Perform 70% dock deliveries and 30% liftgate deliveries
  • Unload freight using an electric pallet jack when required
  • Maintain safe driving practices and provide excellent customer service


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Valid CDL Class A License required
  • Ability to safely operate Class A tractor trailers
  • Experience with liftgate deliveries and electric pallet jacks preferred
  • Strong commitment to safety and customer service

  • Automatic International and Freightliner tractor trailers
  • 32'–53' trailers with liftgates
  • Fleet consists of trucks that are 5 years old or newer
