Sagemont Hotels is seeking a Task Force Manager to serve as an interim leader during open management positions and as a Sagemont Wings Of Excellence quality auditor. This role may focus on one discipline or span multiple hotel areas — including operations, profitability, guest satisfaction, and team engagement. The Task Force Manager embodies Sagemont Hotels' core values of ownership, accountability, and excellence, stepping in as an operational leader for the property.

This position will be based in SoCal/SW San Bernardino county.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Culture
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Develop and mentor department employees/leaders to uphold the Hotels’ standards and values.
  • Communicate company goals and align property operations with strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as the ambassador of the company’s mission to Soar to Success.
Financial & Operational Oversight
  • Assist in achieving financial targets including revenue, profitability, and expense management related to position or hotel being served.
  • Analyze guest feedback root cause and solutions.
  • Monitors labor productivity based on Hotel Effectiveness labor plan and budget.
  • Ensure brand compliance, safety, and operational excellence across all departments.
  • Utilize M3, Hotel Effectiveness, and brand systems to monitor and optimize performance.
  • Inspect property through Wings of Excellence audits for improved performance.
  • Manages projects, as assigned.
Guest & Owner Relations
  • Ensure all guests receive exceptional experiences that align with brand standards.
  • Handle escalated guest feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain open, professional communication with ownership and corporate leadership.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of hotel management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or business administration preferred.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of brand systems (Hilton, Marriott and IHG) and hospitality systems and tools.
  • Previous Task Force experience helpful
Work Environment & Schedule
  • Full-time position requiring flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Travel, up to 100% of time.
  • Active property presence required, including regular walkthroughs and guest interaction.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to company uniform standards required.
