Hotel Talent NYC is seeking an experienced Bellperson who will assist in the proper execution of Guest Satisfaction and service standards. Ensuring that hotel guests receive hospitable, responsive service during their stay, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty.


DESCRIPTION

Hotel Talent NYC is seeking an experienced Bellperson who will assist in the proper execution of Guest Satisfaction and service standards. Ensuring hotel guests receive hospitable, responsive service during their stay fosters guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Professional Development Path:

Guest Service Agent * Front Desk Supervisor * Assistant Front Office Manager

Bellperson:

  • Maintain accurate knowledge of hotel services
  • Use friendly, fun, and appropriate expressions when addressing guests
  • Transport and storage of guest luggage, assistance with guest packages
  • Be fully acquainted with the different points of interest within the hotel's surrounding area
  • Ensure the delivery of parcels, mail, and special deliveries to guestrooms
  • Call a taxi and/or a shuttle for guests as needed
  • Assist, retrieve, and load luggage for guests
  • Notify the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals whenever possible
  • Maintain the cleanliness of luggage carts

Requirement:

  • Must have guest service experience
  • Must be able to multitask in a busy environment, follow through on guest and employee requests, ensure guest satisfaction, and work as a team player
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
  • Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
  • Requires walking or standing to a significant degree, reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • A flexible schedule is required for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
