Employment Opportunity:

Hotel Security Supervisor (Full Time)

 

United Security Services, Inc., a national security company, is seeking a professional full-time Security Supervisor for an upscale hotel in the Houston area.

 

Security Supervisor Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of public safety or private security experience, with at least 2 years of security management /supervisory experience.
  • Have excellent customer service skills and sound judgement.
  • Have a good working knowledge of Houston’s culture, communities and dynamics. 
  • Must be proficient with interacting, communicating and working jointly with a hotel management staff.
  • Must be effective in supervising professional hotel security officers for an assigned shift. 
  • Must possess, or can acquire by time of employment, a Texas Security Officer license. 
  • Must have the availability and flexible to work any day, including weekends and holidays, and any work shift based on the operational needs of the hotel.


Preferred Qualities and Skills:

  • Knowledgeable in the key aspects of private security including, but not limited to: Handling hotel security tasks, responding to emergencies, preparing and reviewing incident reports, reviewing CCTV footage, progressive discipline, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in Morse Watchmans Keywatcher system.
  • Knowledgeable in Saflok system.
  • Knowledgeable in the area of criminal law. 
  • The ability to review time and attendance systems and handle general administrative matters.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn security software applications.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the hospitality industry and the related nomenclature. 


The hourly wage for this position starts at $19.57 

 

Shift: 3:00PM-11:30PM; 5:30PM-2:00AM. Shifts may vary based on operational requirements.
