Responsibilities

  • Under close supervision, optimizes the function of the Housekeeping office by providing all facets of clerical support.   
  • Works collaboratively with management and team members to ensure that hotel Housekeeping services are delivered in accordance with Cactus Pete’s standards. 
  • Types memos, letters, reports and materials as assigned by Supervisor. 
  • Maintains departmental files. 
  • Designates Guest Room Attendant work assignments. 
  • Receives incoming calls from guest rooms and dispatches maintenance personnel as required. 
  • Responsible for computer data entry of all work orders and inspections. 
  • Maintains lost and found dispatch logs. 
  • Physically performs key checks and lost key searches. 
  • Maintains an orderly office work area. 
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and fluctuating days off. 
  • Organizes supply closet items. 
  • Maintains message boards in pre-shift area. 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred. 
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills are a must; friendly, outgoing and service oriented personality.   
  • One year of Hotel housekeeping experience or related field preferred. 
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays. 
  • Prior guest service experience required. 
  • Valid Driver License preferred. 
  • Knowledge of hotel service operations preferred. 
  • Must be 21 years of age.
