Description
The Overnight Manager will oversee all functions of the hotel in support of the GM during the overnight shift. The primary focus will be on Front Desk/Night Audit and Security, room operations, and the safety and security of the hotel. This is an 11 pm to 9 am shift position.
Responsibilities
• Manager on Duty: Represents hotel leadership and handles all escalations.
• Staff Supervision: Manages front desk agents and night audit staff.
• Night Audit: Oversees processing of end-of-day financial reports.
• Guest Services: Handles late check-ins and urgent guest complaints.
• Risk Management: Monitors hotel security, fire systems, and emergencies.
• Cross-Departmental Coordination: Assists housekeeping and maintenance with overnight requests.
Qualifications
• Previous hotel Front Desk Operations and supervisory experience in a hotel environment is required, with a minimum of two years.
• The ability to provide excellent customer service and make decisions without a lot of supervision is required. The ability to lead and direct the work of others is required.
• The perfect candidate must have the ability to perform under pressure with professionalism.
• The ability to respond to emergency situations and provide leadership in such situations.
• Available to work overnight hours.
