Line Cook – Tranquility Bay Beachfront ResortJob Summary

Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort in Marathon, Florida is seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen during busy service periods.

The ideal candidate has previous restaurant or resort kitchen experience, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering great food and supporting the kitchen team.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain assigned line or prep station for lunch and dinner service

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards

  • Ensure food is cooked to order with consistent presentation and portioning

  • Prepare ingredients and assist with daily food production and prep

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards

  • Assist with inventory organization and reducing food waste

  • Support team members to maintain smooth kitchen operations during busy shifts

Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience as a Line Cook, Cook, or Prep Cook

  • Restaurant, hotel, or resort kitchen experience preferred

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to food quality

  • Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays

  • Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
