bout the role
The Receptionist for Platform Engineering will be the first point of contact for our guests. Additionally, this position provides a broad range of administrative and database support for the Department, Administrative Services, and ad hoc projects and running an efficient and professional front desk.
What you will do
  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person or conference room.
  • nswer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
  • Process catering requests to meet specific delivery times.
  • Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email.
  • Receive, sort, and notify recipients of daily mail/deliveries (FedEx, UPS, US Government Client, DHL Ground).
  • Process weekly breakroom supplies and notify facilities of arrival.
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
  • Order department supplies and keeps an inventory of stock.
  • Update calendars, conference room schedules, schedule meetings coordination with the admin team, shuttle requests.
  • Provide backup support as needed with the Admin team.
  • Participate in special projects and tasks.
What you bring
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience working in an administrative role.

  • Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio).
