Construction Project Manager
Who We Are & What We Do:
Design for Leisure (DFL) is a team of hydrothermal spa specialists working in partnership with owners, operators, architects, and designers to bring European-inspired hydrotherapy concepts to life. Our expertise in building best-in-class wet areas ranges from small but luxurious residential thermal suites with acclaimed hydrothermal circuits for 5-star hospitality projects and luxury commercial developments.
What We're Looking For:
DFL is looking for a Commercial Construction Project Manager willing to work in a fast-paced, multinational company. This position will require experience defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, developing and managing project plans, coordinating with design teams, subcontractors and suppliers, and conducting site visits to monitor progress. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to join a growing company in the unique wellness industry, has exemplary communication and organizational skills, with experience in construction and the design industry.
What Your Day Looks Like:

·        Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
·        Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.

·        Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
·        Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications.

·        Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards. 
·        Procure materials, equipment, and services required for project completion. 
·        Analyze and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed. 
·        Prepare and present detailed project reports to clients and company leadership.

Required Skills:
·        Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

·        5-10+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor, professional design practice or commercial development related team.
·        Proven experience in multifamily/hotel construction.
·        Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore, BuilderTrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.

·       Strong comprehension of Mech/Elec./Plum. (MEP) requirements and trade practices 

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
·        Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

·        Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
