Are you ready to help shape the future of travel and hospitality? CoralTree is seeking a Managing Director to join our team at Napa First Street Hotel located in downtown Napa, CA. As the Managing Director, you will oversee all aspects of the hotel's operation, from sales and marketing to engineering and human resources. You will lead the property's executive committee, drive operational excellence and set the tone for an integrated hospitality experience that consistently delivers distinctive and memorable service. About the Property:

Opening in Summer 2027, Napa First Street Hotel will boast 239 thoughtfully designed luxury guest rooms and suites. The property will include celebrity chef restaurants, a full-service spa, and a rooftop bar. Located in downtown Napa, the hotel offers access to a walkable destination that combines historic charm with modern luxury. It is surrounded by bustling tasting rooms, chef-driven restaurants, and diverse architecture, serving as a lively hub for foodies, wine lovers, and those seeking boutique shopping, art installations, and live music. A destination in itself, allowing visitors to taste without driving to wineries.


  • Champion the property’s operational excellence and financial performance, driving revenue growth and profitability in alignment with the annual business plan and commitment to deliver exceptional owner returns.
  • Lead the property’s market positioning with bold, innovative strategies that showcase property’s unique offerings, differentiating the property from competitors while strengthening its presence in local, regional, and national markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans to achieve precise forecasting projections; proactively adjust business strategies to protect profit integrity and optimize performance.
  • Deliver best-in-class guest and team member experiences, consistently exceeding service expectations while upholding CoralTree Hospitality’s high standards of hospitality and genuine care.
  • Serve as the face of property within the community and the broader hospitality industry, fostering strategic partnerships and representing the property with professionalism and authenticity.
  • Ensure a safe and secure resort environment by implementing and upholding policies that prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of guests, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Inspire, attract, and retain top-tier talent, cultivating a high-performance culture that prioritizes career growth, continuous learning, and leadership development in line with CoralTree Hospitality’s values.
  • Embed a guest-centric culture that consistently delivers exceptional service and ensures every interaction reflects the property’s atmosphere of luxury hospitality.
  • Align owner, company, property, and individual goals to create unified objectives that drive collective success and measurable outcomes.
  • Leverage deep financial acumen, including expertise in income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, and internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational transparency.

  • At least 15 years of hotel operations experience in a leadership position.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or similar, preferred.
  • Marriott Brand Experience Preferred. 
  • Luxury Hotel Opening Experience Preferred. 
  • Robust background in luxury hospitality – wine country a plus.
  • Proven Leadership of luxury F&B operations; including restaurants, bars, banquets & catering, and in-room dining.  Driving exceptional guest experiences alongside strong financial performance.
  • Experience with partner restaurant groups; serving as a strategic liaison to optimize performance and elevate overall dining guest experiences.
