Job Description: Sales Manager
Property: Hampton Inn Huntsville, AL
Position Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue through proactive sales efforts, developing strong client relationships, and ensuring the hotel achieves or exceeds targeted goals. This role requires a motivated, results-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong knowledge of the local Huntsville market.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue in rooms, meetings, and group business.
  • Identify, qualify, and solicit new business through direct sales efforts, networking, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, local businesses, and community organizations.
  • Conduct property tours, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts with clients.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Sales (if applicable) to establish weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Utilize brand tools, CRM systems, and reporting to track performance and sales productivity.
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of group bookings and guest satisfaction.
  • Represent the Hampton Inn brand with professionalism in the community and at industry functions.
Qualifications
