We are currently seeking experienced and driven candidates just like you to serve as a Chief Engineer/Building Maintenance Manager for the AC Element Hotel by Marriott Rochester, NY at City Gate!
The main objective of the Chief Engineer/Building Maintenance Manager is to lead, train, and mentor the Engineering team while ensuring the proper working order, maintenance, and overall condition of the hotel and its assets. This position oversees preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a variety of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, guest rooms, and public areas.
Successful candidates will combine strong technical knowledge with effective leadership and a hands-on approach to hotel maintenance. The ideal candidate will be comfortable troubleshooting and repairing equipment and building systems, managing preventative maintenance programs, leading and developing Engineering associates, and partnering with other hotel departments to ensure the property is operating safely and efficiently. Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
