Key Responsibilities:

• Successful track record in driving GSS scores/TripAdvisor ranking

• Maintain standards of quality guest service; and increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development 

• Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximize profitability related to the front desk/guest services department.

• Develop short- and long-term financial and operational plans for the front desk/guest service department that relate to the overall objectives of the hotel.

• Oversees all problem resolution matters in the absence of the GM.

• Manage the reservation function to maintain the highest possible room occupancy and average daily rate through suggestive selling by associates. 

• Maintain and correct procedures for credit control, financial transactions, security of financial assets, and guest security.

• Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.

• Ability to accurately use various office, front office, and accounting software 

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of front office/guest service department

• Must be knowledgeable of other hotel departments and functions.

• Must have at least 2 years of managerial experience in hotel's front office/guest service department

• Hilton brand experience preferred

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekend and holidays

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.

• Must have exceptional mathematical and computer skills.

• Ability to timely obtain CPR training and first aid training required.

• Ability to timely obtain any other required licenses or certificates required.

• Occasional travel required. 

• Minimum lifting, pulling, and pushing of 20 pounds required.

• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity required.

• Hearing, writing, typing required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in hotel management, business, or industry related field preferred

• Additional language ability preferred.
