Job description

Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly? We are looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team and work alongside our Chief Engineer to help maintain our beautiful hotels.

Whether you're an experienced maintenance professional or someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who is eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you. We provide on-the-job training and are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to grow.

What You'll Do
  • Assist with preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
  • Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
  • Troubleshoot guest room maintenance issues and respond promptly to service requests.
  • Help maintain the pool, public areas, exterior grounds, and mechanical equipment.
  • Work with our Chief Engineer to complete projects and ensure the hotel remains in excellent condition.
  • Follow all safety procedures and Marriott brand standards.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or handyman experience is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use common hand and power tools safely.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance.
  • Friendly, professional attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.
