Overview
The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Engineering with a variety of administrative functions.
Responsibilities
  • Create POs and order materials for Engineering department
  • Post schedules every two weeks for Engineers
  • Call in Vendors for 3rd party work
  • Work with DOE to maintain all life safety and health related documents
  • Manage and keep Alice system up to date and current for Engineering dept
  • Maintain records, files and ledger to provide ready access to purchasing information and status of same.
  • Maintain a follow up system for materials ordered
  • Track departmental expenses
  • Process invoices for purchased items, contract labor and service calls.
  • Other administrative items determined by Director of Engineering
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
