Role Description The Digital Marketing & Design Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Canon City, CO, responsible for elevating the Royal Gorge Route Railroad’s brand across digital channels and visual touchpoints. This role plans and executes digital marketing campaigns, including email, social, web, billboards, ads etc.

The Royal Gorge Route Railroad is one of Colorado’s premier tourism destinations, welcoming hundreds of thousands of guests each year aboard one of America’s most scenic railroads.

We’re looking for an exceptionally talented Digital Marketing & Design Manager to help elevate our brands, drive revenue, and create unforgettable guest experiences.



The Opportunity


This is an exciting opportunity for a highly creative, results-driven marketing professional who excels in graphic design, WordPress, digital marketing, paid media, branding, photography, video, and analytics.


You’ll lead the marketing efforts for multiple hospitality brands, creating campaigns that increase train ticket sales, restaurant reservations, lodging occupancy, weddings, private events, and overall company revenue.


You’ll work directly with company leadership and have the freedom to bring ideas to life while seeing the measurable results of your work.



Key Responsibilities


* Design professional marketing materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

* Build, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites, landing pages, and online content

* Manage Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, email marketing, and digital advertising campaigns

* Purchase and negotiate digital and traditional advertising, including television, radio, billboards, print, sponsorships, and other media

* Capture and produce professional photography and video content

* Manage social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement

* Maintain strong branding across all businesses and marketing channels

* Analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations that improve revenue and return on investment



Qualifications


Required


* 5+ years of professional marketing and graphic design experience

* Advanced Canva experience (required)

* Strong WordPress experience (required)

* Advanced Adobe Creative Suite experience, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator (required)

* Experience managing Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, and paid digital marketing campaigns

* Experience purchasing and negotiating digital and traditional advertising

* Professional photography and video production experience

* Excellent copywriting, communication, and organizational skills

* Ability to manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously

* Professional portfolio required


Preferred


* Hospitality, tourism, restaurant, hotel, or destination marketing experience

* Wedding and private event marketing

* Experience with OpenTable, ticketing platforms, and CRM platforms

* Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Search Console experience

* Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Adobe Firefly
