About the role
We seek the "best of the best" restaurant professionals passionate about food, elevated service, and beverage experiences. Our Culinary team at Recess Hotel & Club is currently looking for a motivated and attentive Cooks. In this role, you will work with a team of hospitality partners who are dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
If you are hired into this role, you will receive a $1,000 one-time sign on bonus. (Minimum length of tenure required)
What you'll do
  • Support the Chef and Sous Chef team in ensuring proper line setup prior to service
  • Provide support and prep in all areas of food production and storage in accordance with standards
  • Assist in ensuring food is prepped, produced, and plated to quality and timeliness standards
  • Communicate needed prep or 86'd items to the Chef after service
  • Ensure compliance with cleanliness and sanitation and maintain an organized work environment

Qualifications
  • Hard-working team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail and a passion for hospitality
  • Familiarity with safe and sanitary food handling and preparation
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Effective Communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to endure abundant physical movement in various work area
