Job description

We are an established NYC architecture firm working on multi-family residential buildings, single-family homes, mixed-use buildings, hotels, commercial projects, alterations, additions, new buildings, DOB filings, zoning, and construction coordination.

We are looking for someone who can prepare drawings, coordinate projects, work with consultants, and help move projects through DOB approvals and construction.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare architectural drawings and construction document sets
  • Work on residential, multi-family, hotel, commercial, mixed-use, alteration, and new building projects
  • Prepare DOB filing drawings, zoning analysis, and code review
  • Coordinate with engineers, expediters, consultants, contractors, clients, and agencies
  • Respond to DOB comments, RFIs, submittals, and field issues
  • Review consultant drawings and coordinate project information
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Work directly with the principal and project team

Requirements

  • Architecture degree
  • 6+ years of architectural office experience preferred
  • Strong AutoCAD skills required
  • NYC DOB, zoning, and building code experience preferred
  • Strong construction document and detailing skills
  • Experience with residential, commercial, mixed-use, hotel, or multi-family projects
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Revit / SketchUp / Bluebeam experience is a plus
