Located along world-renowned El Paseo, our boutique hotel places guests steps from premier shopping, art galleries, acclaimed restaurants, and vibrant nightlife while serving as the perfect gateway to Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley.

What you will be doing:

  • Champion the hotel’s strategic vision and drive its execution through innovative planning and decisive leadership.

  • Serve as an active community partner, enhancing the hotel’s presence and impact within the local area.
  • Ensure financial performance by delivering accurate forecasts and making timely staffing and operational adjustments.
  • Partner with corporate leadership and the commercial team to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth, strengthen market position, enhance food and beverage offerings, guide capital investments, and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
  • Engage directly in sales efforts through property tours, presentations, and client meetings to support business growth.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, development, and retention of top talent across all departments.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to team members, cultivating a respectful and productive work environment.

What we are looking for:

  • 5–7+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience, including experience as a General Manager or senior hotel leader within an upscale, luxury, lifestyle, or boutique hospitality environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading high-performing teams, cultivating a culture of accountability, engagement, service excellence, and associate development.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share through strategic business planning, revenue management, sales, and marketing leadership.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing hotel P&Ls, forecasting, budgeting, expense controls, capital planning, and overall business performance.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and operational data to identify opportunities and make informed business decisions.
  • Proven success developing, coaching, and mentoring leaders and associates while building strong succession plans and fostering long-term talent growth.
  • Highly visible, hands-on leader with exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills and a passion for delivering personalized luxury guest experiences.
  • Experience directing and supporting sales and marketing initiatives that position a property as a market leader within its competitive set while driving occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR performance.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management principles, property management systems, and full-service hotel environments; Marriott systems experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent hospitality leadership experience will be considered.

What’s in it for you?

  • Potential for annual incentives based on property and personal performance
  • Room discounts at Marcus Hotels & Resorts and Marriott worldwide locations
  • Discounts at Marcus Hotels & Resorts restaurants, cafes, lounges, golfing, skiing, and spa
  • Paid time off
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance (offered after 1 month of employment), company-paid life insurance, employee assistance program offer, and 401k with employer match
