Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hot Tub Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hot tubs, swim spas and sauna systems. The technician role requires excellent troubleshooting skills, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a customer-centric attitude. You will work on-site at customer homes ensuring their products are functioning efficiently and safely.

Service Technician Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosis & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair hot tubs, swim spas, saunas, and related equipment, including pumps, heaters, filtration systems, and electrical components.
  • Installation: Assist with the installation of new hot tubs and spas, ensuring proper setup and functionality.(When necessary).
  • Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on hot tubs and swim spas including water testing, chemical balancing, cleaning, and checking for mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients, explaining repairs, and answering any questions they may have.
  • Documentation: Complete detailed service reports, including parts used, labor hours, and any necessary follow-up steps.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a stock of commonly used parts and tools, ordering additional supplies as necessary.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines during repairs, installations, and general service work.
  • Travel & Schedule Flexibility: Travel to various customer locations as scheduled, and adjust to client needs, including working some weekends or evenings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in hot tub repair, maintenance, HVAC, or a related field (preferred). Knowledge of electrical systems, water chemistry, pumps, and heating systems.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment effectively and safely.
  • Certifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Additional certifications related to hot tub service (e.g., electrical, water treatment) a plus.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Must be able to bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in various outdoor and indoor environments, including residential and commercial properties.
