Job description

Full-Time | Tuesday-Friday | Four 10-Hour Shifts | 30-40 Hours per Week

Looking for a hands-on career where you can learn a skilled trade and grow with the company? Our Hot Tub Technician Apprentice & Hot tub Mover Program is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of the growing hot tub and spa industry.

No previous hot tub experience is required. You'll work alongside experienced technicians and learn the trade through consistent ride-alongs and hands-on training.

You'll gain experience with hot tub plumbing, electrical systems, pumps, controls, water chemistry, troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and deliveries.

Once you successfully complete your training and certification, you'll have the opportunity to move into a full Hot Tub Technician position with:

  • Increased hourly pay

Job Responsibilities

As an apprentice and hot tub mover, you'll work directly with our service and delivery team. Duties include:

  • Assist technicians with hot tub service calls and repairs
  • Assist with hot tub deliveries, installations, removals, and relocations
  • Safely move hot tubs as part of a team
  • Load and unload hot tubs, equipment, parts, and tools
  • Prepare trucks and equipment for daily jobs
  • Maintain truck inventory and keep vehicles organized
  • Assist with plumbing and electrical-related spa repairs under technician supervision
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, specialty spa equipment, moving equipment, and forklifts
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop and work area
  • Participate in company training programs
  • Provide professional and courteous service at customers' homes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements

  • Valid Arizona driver's license with a good driving record
  • Must be dependable and show up on time
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors in Arizona weather
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Must be capable of team lifting and physically moving hot tubs
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to read and write clearly
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers
  • Willingness to learn plumbing, electrical systems, water chemistry, and hot tub repair
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Experience

No hot tub experience required — we will train the right person.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool/spa, appliance repair, moving, delivery, landscaping, or other hands-on experience is a plus, but not required. If you have hot tub Experience please let us know and we will compensate for experience

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on, physical position, not a desk job.

  • At least 75% of the work is performed outdoors
  • Regular exposure to heat, cold, sun, and other weather conditions
  • Frequent lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, and pulling
  • Must be comfortable working around water and electrical/mechanical equipment
  • Hot tub deliveries and removals require coordinated team lifting and moving

Schedule

Job Type: Full-Time
Expected Hours: 35-40 hours per week
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday
Shifts: Four 10-hour shifts
