Job Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and manage hotel renovation and capital improvement projects across Vision Hospitality Group’s portfolio. This role will coordinate all phases of renovation activity including planning, budgeting, vendor management, scheduling, procurement coordination, and project execution to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to brand and company standards.

The person in this position must be able to roll their sleeves up and assist our team when needed, living our “ONE TEAM. ONE VISION.” philosophy. This person must also provide innovative ways that align with our mission to be the best, most respected hotel company in America.

Necessary Skills:

• Oversee hotel renovation and capital improvement projects from planning through completion across multiple properties. 

 • Coordinate with ownership groups, hotel management teams, contractors, architects, designers, engineers, and brand representatives. 

 • Develop and manage renovation schedules, budgets, and project timelines to ensure successful delivery. 

 • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, quality standards, safety compliance, and adherence to scope. 

 • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including contract negotiations, bid reviews, and performance evaluations. 

 • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Operations, and Development teams to ensure timely sourcing and installation of FF&E and operational supplies. 

 • Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies while maintaining high-quality renovation standards. 

 • Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and brand requirements related to construction and renovation activity. 

 • Ability to manage multiple renovation projects simultaneously in various stages of completion. 

 • Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. 

 • Subject matter expertise in hotel renovations, construction coordination, budgeting, and project management. 

 • Clearly understands all upstream and downstream implications of their work and its impact on all business partners throughout the renovation lifecycle. 

 • Demonstrating strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and project management software. 

 • Hospitality renovation, construction management, or project management experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, and stretch and lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.

• You will be working in a collaborative office setting with other workers, where various communications, work tasks, and common office activities are happening throughout the day. 

• Must be able to remain focused, manage distractions, and effectively handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. 

• Must be adaptable to working with a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds..

• Have Knowledge and the ability to operate computer and office equipment.

• Must speak in a clear, understandable voice and hear at a basic level, and understand English
