The Hampton Inn Downtown Nashville is seeking an energetic, service-driven General Manager to lead one of the market's highest-performing and most recognized hotels. What You'll Do
As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, associate engagement, operational excellence, and financial performance. You will serve as the strategic leader of the property while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a customer-focused culture that drives guest loyalty, associate engagement, and operational excellence
  • Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring consistent delivery of brand standards, service quality, and profitability goals
  • Analyze operational and financial performance including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, forecasting, labor management, and expense controls to maximize results
  • Develop and execute annual business plans, budgets, and strategic initiatives
  • Recruit, mentor, develop, and lead department managers and hotel associates to build a high-performing leadership team
  • Drive accountability through coaching, performance management, and ongoing development initiatives
  • Maintain strong visibility throughout the hotel, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, product quality, and guest service standards
  • Build relationships within the local community and represent the hotel and management company in a professional and positive manner
  • Partner closely with Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to identify opportunities for growth and market share expansion
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, safety regulations, and HR practices
  • Participate in corporate initiatives, leadership meetings, and operational committees as needed

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Hotel General Manager required
  • Hilton brand experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading high-volume hotel operations with strong guest satisfaction and financial results
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor controls, and profitability metrics
  • Proven ability to recruit, lead, coach, and retain high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
