Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Associate, Hospitality Services.
In this role, the successful candidate Leads Hospitality Associates to perform cleaning tasks, as assigned, to maintain a clean, sanitary environment for our patients, visitors and co-workers through general cleaning tasks in patient rooms, offices, hallways and other areas as assigned. This role will serve as the point of escalation for the on-call manager when needed, not to direct the work force, but to support when supervisor is not on.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment
  • Notifies the department upon completion of assignments.
  • Transport of solid waste to designated locations transport of certain hazardous/universal wastes from designated hospital locations to the main hospital accumulation area
  • General cleaning of hospital using some materials that may be corrosive flammable or toxic in their concentrated
    form 
  • Leads hospitality associates to perform cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Displays a positive team effort.
  • Performs daily duties in a safe manner keeping patient needs first.
  • Informs manager of any potential problems or unsafe conditions.
  • Performs job duties without direct supervision.
  • Performs project work as directed.
  • Performs isolation cleaning according to procedure.
  • Performs discharge cleaning according to procedure.
  • Performs housekeeping duties according to procedure.
  • Keeps housekeeping cart clean and chemical bottles labeled
  • Act as first point of contact for staff questions and issues
  • Answer and route phone calls, communicate with supervisors or management as needed for emergencies
  • Support staff and ensure they have guidance and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Document significant events and escalate issues appropriately for follow-up.
  • Monitor ongoing tasks (repairs, supply issues, and provide updates to management.
  • Ensure overnight procedures are followed and promote a safe, efficient environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School diploma or GED Some housekeeping experience preferred. In between case cleaning experience required. 1-3 yrs experience as a Hospitality Associate required. Ability to delegate tasks accordingly. Heavy lifting required. Ability to work independently
