This destination resort sprawls across 40 acres with scenic overlooks, a trout pond, fields and woodlands. Once a breeding farm built in 1891, it is now a finely restored boutique hotel with exquisite decor and exceptional service.

The renowned, gourmet restaurant serves a tasty farm-to-table menu and the handsome wood-paneled cocktail lounge offers fine wines, libations, and small bites. The warm welcome, individual service, absolute discretion and love of detail are evidenced by being the only Relais & Chateaux designated hotels and restaurants in Maine.

Blair Hill Inn is seeking an Assistant Innkeeper to join our close-knit team for the 2026 season. This is a hands-on role that is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in a job well done, and thrives in an environment where no two days are the same.

What You'll Do

Your mornings will begin helping deliver an exceptional breakfast experience before transitioning into coordinating guest departures and preparing the inn for new arrivals. Throughout the day, you'll work alongside our housekeeping and hospitality teams to ensure every guest room and every interaction reflects the standards our guests have come to expect.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing warm, personalized service during breakfast.

• Welcoming guests and assisting with departures and arrivals.

• Coordinating daily housekeeping priorities and inspecting guest rooms.

• Ensuring rooms are beautifully prepared for each check-in.

• Maintaining the appearance of guest spaces throughout the property.

• Anticipating guest needs and helping resolve requests with professionalism and care.

• Supporting teammates wherever needed to create a seamless guest experience.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys taking care of people and finds satisfaction in creating exceptional experiences through thoughtful service and attention to detail.

You should have:

• A naturally warm, friendly, and welcoming personality.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• The ability to multitask and stay calm during busy mornings.

• A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever help is needed.

• The ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays during the season.

• Hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or customer service experience is preferred, but we value attitude, work ethic, and a willingness to learn just as much.
