Duprey Hospitality is a locally owned and operated, full-service hotel management company with a diverse portfolio that includes nationally recognized Marriott, Hilton, and Choice Hotels brands. In addition to our hotel properties, we operate a unique collection of hospitality and entertainment venues, including a signature restaurant, a one-of-a-kind event space and rooftop bar, and an independent 16,000-square-foot conference and event center.


We have grown in the last year and adding to our team!  We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in supporting multiple hospitality businesses.


What You'll Do

As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring the financial integrity of multiple entities within our organization. Working closely with leadership and property teams, you will contribute to the financial success of our operations while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.


Requirements:
  • Prepare and record journal entries to support accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare monthly financial statements for assigned hotel and hospitality properties
  • Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable close processes for accuracy and completeness
  • Reconcile and verify bank statements and related account balances
  • Assist external auditors with year-end reviews and annual audits
  • Monitor and maintain property-level accounting controls, including cash management and revenue recognition procedures
  • Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions as needed
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies
  • Collaborate with property leadership and corporate management to support business objectives
