Pharmacy Technician – Travel Contract

Facility: Northwest Medical Center Tucson, AZ
Start Date: 06/15/2026 (ASAP)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $32 – $33/hr
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,152 – $1,188/week


Schedule

Variable 10-hour shifts (10.5 hours with lunch)
Start times may vary between:

  • 6:00 AM

  • 8:00 AM

  • 10:00 AM

Days, Evenings & Weekends Required


Job Summary

Assist pharmacists in the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of medications within an inpatient hospital setting. Responsibilities include medication preparation, IV admixtures, inventory management, stocking, pharmaceutical transport, and unit-dose distribution.


Requirements
  • Active CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification

  • 1–2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience required

  • Inpatient hospital experience required

  • Experience with medication preparation and inventory management

  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends
