Shuttle Bus Driver

Onsight Healthcare has been contracted to support Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.

Part-Time Position | $17/hour | Monday - Friday | Weekends Off

Minimum Requirements

  • Over the age of 21 years old
  • Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer
  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Possess a valid active in-state regular driver's licenseย (Permitย or Probationary License not accepted )
  • At least 1 year ofย shuttle, bus, or deliveryย truck drivingย experience, with a strong, personable, customer-centric background, is required
  • Extremely safe driver, familiar with and able to adhere to all major traffic laws
  • Maintained a clean driving record for the past 5ย years as an active driver
  • A CDL License is not required,ย but is a plus!

Key Responsibilitiesย 

When Shuttling employees

  • Greet and welcome employees to the healthcare facility
  • Answer employees' questions regardingย offices or department locations.
  • Follows a planned route, making scheduled stops to pick up or drop off employees.
  • Daily use of apps/technology to maintainย operational efficiency and logistics for the assigned shuttle route
  • Complete pre-shift and end-shift safety checks and document any damage or necessary information about the shuttle.

When not shuttle driving

  • Greet and welcome employees to the healthcare facility
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and professional work environment for your co-workers and passengers
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with all employeesย and team members
  • Answer employees' questions regarding medical offices or department locations.

  • Assist individuals with mobility challenges boarding the shuttle
  • Daily use of apps/technology to maintainย operational efficiency and logistics
  • Meticulously maintain records, including photos of the vehicle, condition, and other records as needed
  • Efficiently manage shuttle logistics, adhering to all site requirements and assigned routes, abidingย by all traffic laws
  • Provide accurate directions and helpful information about the hospital facilities
  • Effectively build relationships with hospital staffย and fellow team members
  • Actively maintain a clean and professional work environment

Job Requirements

  • Work in a sitting position, driving for an entire shift
  • Safely and physically able to lift up toย 50 lb
  • Effectively able to build relationships with yourย team and others in a professional manner
  • Ability to walk, stand, push, and pull items while showing empathy and professionalism in the workplace
