Per Diem Variable Shift
Summary
Creates the Starbucks experience for customers by providing prompt and friendly service, quality beverages and products and a clean and comfortable environment. Fulfills customer orders and completes sales transactions. Assists in stocking and inventory maintenance.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The specifications listed below are representative of the education and experience as well as knowledge, skill and ability required.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to put the customer first and deliver excellent customer service.
• Ability to build relationships and work as part of a team
• Minimum 6 months retail/food service and cash handling experience preferred
Basic computer skills required for:
• Accessing and navigating CTRH intranet for forms, policies and procedures
• Accessing and entering data on organization wide software such as etime and Outlook email
• Accessing and using internet and specific applications required to perform job duties
Essential Functions
1. Provides superior customer experience to all guests in the hospital
a. Greets and connects with every customer
b. Discovers customer needs and provides complete product information
2. Prepares a variety of customer beverage orders according to Starbucks standards
3. Assists customers with selection and purchase of beverage, whole bean, food and other retail items. Adheres to recipe and presentation standards
4. Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
5. Maintain orderly and clean work and service areas and equipment according to standards
6. Assits in set up and displays of retail products and areas
7. Processes transactions through the cash register while maintaining accurate daily cash drawer
