  • 1 year in acute/chronic dialysis for Dialysis

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :

  • 2 years in acute care for Med/Surg
  • 2 years in psychiatric facility for Behavioral Health
  • 2 years acute/chronic dialysis for Dialysis

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE :

  • Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
  • For RN in Behavioral Health: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into department

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
REQUIRED CCOURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):

  • Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
  • Dialysis Department: In addition to Basic Life Support, ACLS (AHA) must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into the unit.
  • Behavioral Health Unit: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention for Behavioral Health must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into role
