Starting your nursing career is a big milestone - and the right support matters. As a new graduate or early career nurse, our ANCC-accredited Nurse Residency Program (Practice Transition Accreditation Program with distinction) is designed to build your confidence and strengthen your clinical skills as you transition into professional practice. You'll learn in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with hands-on experience and dedicated mentorship.

August 2026 graduates are eligible for consideration.

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Partner with your RN preceptor to support patient care through observation, documentation and clear communication.
  • Assist with physician and nursing care plans to help deliver safe, coordinated care.
  • Monitor, communicate and document changes in patient condition.
  • Strengthen clinical thinking and judgement through structured transition-to-practice experiences that support safe, competent, person-centered care.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

  • Less than one year of RN experience
