Additional Position Details: Union Position | FTE: 0.75 | Part Time | Variable Schedule Days
Salary Range: $53.99 - $77.79
Shift Differentials:
  • $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
  • $2.50 extra for working weekends

Position Information: Weekend sedation call coverage required.

Position Summary
Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC), located in Medford, is a 378-bed regional referral and level 2 trauma center featuring the latest medical technology and clinical expertise-all administered with a patient-focused philosophy. Our hospital team delivers nationally-recognized heart and vascular care, orthopedic services, and cancer care, as well as a comprehensive range of other key services including neurology and neurosurgery, bariatric surgery, rehabilitation services, work health, diabetes care, hospice services, a primary stroke center, an accredited hospital-based sleep center, and the regions only neonatal intensive care unit.
A Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver responsible and accountable for their practice for assigned patient(s). Utilizing the nursing process, the RN delivers superb health care in a compassionate manner, is committed to excellence and empowered to streamline and improve operations.
What You'll Do
  • Consolidate sedation and coordination for CT/Ultrasound and Cath Lab
  • Make care calls before and after procedures
  • Verify med list for outpatients and communicate med holds
  • Evaluate outpatient suitability for mod conscious sedation, refer to anesthesia when appropriate
  • Help evaluate incoming inpatient procedure orders and coordinate scheduling with APPs/IRs
  • Coordinate patient care with the floors (stop anticoagulation, npo status, stability for sedation, etc.)
  • Post procedure instructions for patients
  • Recover post procedure (manages vascular access/removes access)

Position Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

Experience
  • 2 years of relevant moderate conscious sedation experience is required
  • Cardiovascular Recovery department experience is required
  • 1 year of imaging experience, critical care background or pediatric experience is preferred

Licensure/Certifications
  • RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN), required upon start
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA), required upon start
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, required upon start
