Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

Education Qualifications

  • (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required or
  • (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing Required
  • Other Accredited Program Diploma in Nursing Required or
  • (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing Required or
  • (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred or

Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of nursing process and practice. (Required proficiency)
  • Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. (Required proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio Upon Hire Required and
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Adult and Pediatric Advanced Life Support may be required based on clinical area standards.
