ACADEMIC NEURORADIOLOGIST
* This position has a starting hiring range of $455,000-$500,000 with opportunities for additional income ($100,000 +).

The academic radiology practice at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital within the radiology practice for MedStar Health, is seeking board certified / board eligible fellowship-trained radiologist in Neuroradiology, and/or eligibility for subspecialty CAQ certification in Neuroradiology. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an academic practice within a growing healthcare system with renown Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Residencies, and multiple hospitals and outpatient centers. We are a subspecialized practice based at MedStar Georgetown and provide advanced imaging services for a tertiary medical center, with exceptional clinical programs in Transplant, Cardiovascular care, Neurosurgery/ Neurology/Neurovascular Service line, Oncology, Orthopedics and Internal Medicine. MedStar Radiology has an industry leading enterprise-wide informatics infrastructure built to empower radiologists with state-of-the-art PACS/Voice and integrated AI tools.
FLEXIBILITY. This role provides the opportunity for academic time, engagement in teaching and research and can be fashioned as a hybrid position, with on-site and remote shifts.
Job Requirements:
  • Maryland, DC, and Virginia licensure, or be able to apply and obtain. Licensing costs are fully reimbursed.
  • Backup call for onsite residents weekdays and weekend shifts taken from home, coverage is supported by Internal Nighthawk coverage.
  • Must be board certified or board eligible, and fellowship trained in Neuroradiology, and/or eligibility for subspecialty CAQ certification in Neuroradiology.
Qualifications:
  • Board-certified or Board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology
  • Open to experienced radiologists and new graduates (fellowship training preferred)
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia
  • Strong clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and excellent communication skills
