Hollymead Veterinary Hospital offers General Practice and Urgent Care services to companion animals in Charlottesville, Virginia. Formerly known as VETSS (Veterinary Emergency Treatment and Specialty Services), our hospital has provided emergency services to the Charlottesville community for over 30 years. In 2018, as the landscape of veterinary care evolved, we began shifting towards urgent care and general practice services.
Our team is dedicated to both pets and their owners, and we pride ourselves on delivering medical excellence and patient-centered care in a comforting environment. We have several team members that are Fear-Free and RECOVER certified, led by a people-focused Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM).
Hollymead Veterinary Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia is a 4 doctor practice providing General Practice and Urgent Care services. We're seeking an additional, experienced veterinarian who enjoys treating a diverse range of cases with a highly skilled team!

Compensation & Benefits
  • Full-time, experienced veterinarian base salary: $145-175k. Commensurate with skillset, experience, schedule and your preferred pace.
  • Earning potential on monthly, no negative accrual bonus plan: $220k+
  • Additional opportunities to earn: Highly competitive monthly, no negative accrual bonus plan. Bonus plan is not mandatory (for candidates preferring straight salary). Equity opportunity available starting early 2025.

  • Bonus in exchange for multi-year commitment negotiable; commensurate with length of commitment, skillset and schedule commitment
