• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments via telehealth platforms to evaluate the psychological needs of patients and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individualized short-term counseling and rapid crisis intervention services, addressing a diverse array of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Facilitate virtual therapy groups and workshops that focus on relevant topics, such as stress management, coping strategies, and self-care, enhancing patients’ personal development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and outcomes.
• Engage in proactive outreach initiatives, including community mental health awareness campaigns, to educate the public and reduce stigma around seeking help.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in record-keeping.

In this role, you will primarily support individuals experiencing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges who may have complex medical histories. The patient population includes adolescents and adults, hence, understanding the unique mental health issues faced by these groups, as well as culturally sensitive communication, will be critical to your success in this role.

• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Strong foundation in understanding the unique psychological challenges faced by patients within a hospital setting.
• Ability to establish effective rapport with a diverse client base while exercising strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and brief therapy modalities suitable for telehealth delivery.
• A proficient capacity to manage a varied caseload in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills.

• Experience in a mental health setting, preferably within telehealth services or a hospital counseling environment.
• Demonstrated capability to implement group therapies and run workshops effectively—experience leading mental health education is a plus.
• History of fostering collaborative partnerships with other healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
