Job description

Our company provides billing services to hospice providers and we are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to provide excellent billing services to customers. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Medicare billing practices for hospice providers.

This is a full time on location position Monday-Friday 9-5 pm compensation is commensurate with experience.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Have knowledge of Medicare billing procedures for hospice providers, including: NOE filing, submission of claims, correction of claims, appeals, and other Medicare billing processes for hospice providers.
  • Responsible for acting as a billing liaison between customers and company.
  • Resolve customer queries via phone, email, mail.
  • Submit authorized claims for billing.
  • Follow up on RTP claims, among other billing responsibilities.
  • Keep customers informed of billing and payment status.
  • Timely and Regular attendance.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent phone etiquette/customer service skills
  • Exceptional ability to professionally communicate knowledge of the Medicare billing process.
  • Must have computer and web savvy / Must have sufficient technical aptitude to quickly learn.
  • Experience with hospice billing and/or billing software preferred (claim submissions, RTPs, etc.)
  • Previous experience providing billing and or customer service preferred.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced work environment.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work well with a team.
