Responsibilities

About the Role
You’ll lead a team of healthcare professionals across our entire Houston market to ensure patients get the compassionate care they need during one of life’s most difficult journeys. Your team will develop relationships with and provide patients and families with the care and guidance they need for end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all branch operations, which includes both home visits and the local inpatient unit
  • Serve as a business operations expert for both home based and inpatient hospice facility
  • Ensure effective use of resources using P&L information, census numbers, and staffing levels
  • Lead culture initiatives to ensure a healthy working environment for your team leaders and team
  • Conduct back-to-bedside visits to keep you in touch with your team’s experiences
  • Partner with Hospice Care Consultants and team leads to nurture referral relationships
  • Serve as a community advocate, keeping AccentCare held in high regard
  • Review business operations report to help improve processes for the site

Qualifications

  • Texas RN license required
  • At least 10 years of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or a related health care program
  • Experience managing multiple sites/buildings
  • Experience in business and fiscal functions in a health care setting preferred
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order
