Hospice Clinical Director (RN)

$120,000โ€“$145,000/year + full benefits!

LilyCare Hospice is hiring an experienced Hospice Clinical Director (RN) to lead clinical operations for our growing community-based hospice in Florham Park, NJ. At LilyCare, our Hospice Clinical Director focuses entirely on clinical care โ€” a dedicated Hospice Administrator handles HR, finance, and business operations separately, so you can lead your team without the administrative burden. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the hospice Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) as Hospice Clinical Director (RN), serving as the clinical bridge between field staff, the Medical Director, and agency leadership

  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate the hospice nursing team โ€” RNs, LPNs, and CNAs โ€” including supervisory visits and annual clinical evaluations

  • Oversee hospice admissions, Plans of Care, certifications, recertifications, symptom management, and clinical triage for field case managers

  • Ensure compliance with Medicare Hospice Conditions of Participation and New Jersey state hospice regulations; lead QAPI and clinical documentation standards

  • Manage the hospice on-call rotation and step into the field to support case managers during high census or staff shortages

Compensation and Schedule

  • Pay range: $120,000โ€“$145,000/year

  • Full-time, 40 hours/week

  • Mondayโ€“Friday + on-call rotation

  • Location: Florham Park, NJ 07932

Skills and Qualifications

  • Active RN license in New Jersey or NLC multistate compact (required)

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required)

  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in hospice, home health, or community health (required)

  • Working knowledge of Medicare Hospice Conditions of Participation (required)

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)

  • BSN (preferred)

  • Prior Hospice Clinical Director (RN) or Director of Nursing experience required

  • CHPN certification (preferred)
