Summary:

Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager, the Hose Assembler / Warehouse Personnel will primarily perform hose assembly duties, including building, testing, and inspecting hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies. Additional responsibilities include receiving incoming inventory deliveries, verifying shipment paperwork, entering inventory into the system, pulling and packing inventory to fulfill customer orders, creating packing slips and labels, scheduling carriers, following up on order status with internal and external customers via phone and email, managing inventory counts, identifying discrepancies, conducting investigations, coordinating freight pick-ups and deliveries for time-sensitive orders (including cost analysis and handling claims), and utilizing Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) for various tasks. This role may also perform light instrument technician duties, servicing instruments and safety equipment. 

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Personnel & Hose Assembler include, but are not limited to:

  • Assemble hose, hydraulic & industrial
  • Build hose assemblies from work orders
  • Test and troubleshoot hoses
  • Conduct final inspections of orders prior to shipping
  • Quality Control
  • Shipping and receiving
  • Putting up stock
  • Staging inventory
  • Order and transfer picking
  • Cycle counting
  • Other warehouse duties as assigned by management

Qualifications of the Warehouse Personnel & Hose Assembler include, but are not limited to:

  • 2-3 years warehouse experience preferred 
  • Strong mechanical skills to work safely with tools and equipment 
  • Strong computer skills preferred, but not required 
  • Basic math skills 
  • Must be detail oriented and dependable 
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment

Additional Information:

  • Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Working Conditions: Warehouse - Shop Environment, climate controlled
  • Training/Certifications: Hose assembly or warehouse experience preferred; forklift experience preferred but not required
  • Shift Time/Overtime: Ability to work Mon-Fri for an 8 hour shift between 8 am – 5 pm. Overtime as needed.
