Horizon Flex Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Lakeland, Florida. Our facility offers an onsite, supportive, and collaborative environment designed to foster professional growth and teamwork. As a vital member of our clinical staff, you will work alongside other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive therapy solutions. You can expect a structured schedule of Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a work-life balance while allowing you to dedicate your time and skills to patient care.

• Assess patient conditions and collaboratively set rehabilitation goals to align with each individual’s needs and aspirations.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, providing personalized care and treatment interventions.
• Utilize sound orthopedic outpatient therapy techniques to administer effective treatments that enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans using evidence-based practice and a variety of treatment methodologies, including manual therapy and exercise regimens.
• Motivate and guide patients to promote active participation in their recovery process, helping them achieve improved physical function.
• Monitor patient progress, document care services, and communicate feedback to optimize treatment strategies.
• Engage in interdisciplinary consultations with healthcare colleagues to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Advocate for lifestyle changes and wellness programs that enhance patients’ physical fitness and overall health.

At Horizon Flex Therapy, our patient population consists primarily of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on providing effective treatment to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. Each patient you work with will benefit from your hands-on approach and commitment to their rehabilitation, ensuring that they are supported throughout their treatment experience.

• A Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions against it.
• A National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the ability to obtain one before starting employment.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and proficiency in therapeutic exercises.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT.

While we consider all qualified applicants, candidates with prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting will be prioritized. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a track record of patient-centered care are highly valued in our search for the ideal candidate.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
