Job description

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP)—either a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)—to join a well-established, mission-driven community health clinic located in Hood River, Oregon. This role is ideal for a provider passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive, team-based environment. (Please note: this opportunity is not open to new graduates.)

This is a full-time position working 4 days per week, consisting of 32 patient-facing hours and 8 hours dedicated to asynchronous clinical care and administrative responsibilities. The provider will manage their own patient panel while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of experienced clinicians, behavioral health professionals, and support staff.

The clinic is part of a nonprofit, federally qualified health center (FQHC)-style organization that focuses on improving access to care for underserved and rural populations. Services are comprehensive and include primary care, preventive services, and integrated behavioral health, with a strong emphasis on whole-person care and community outreach.

Hood River is a vibrant town nestled in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, widely known for its breathtaking scenery and world-class outdoor recreation. Minimum Qualifications

  • Current certification as an FNP or PA
  • Active Oregon NP or PA license and DEA license in good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in family medicine or a related field
  • Graduation from an accredited program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience using Epic EMR
  • Washington NP or PA license (for telehealth services)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: Starting at $130,000 (exempt) + RVU-based bonus potential
  • Bilingual Differential: $0.75/hour for Spanish/English proficiency
