Position Summary

The Honeycomb Production Operator is responsible for producing high-quality honeycomb blocks in accordance with production orders and quality standards. This role includes operating production equipment, dip tanks, ovens, and forklifts, completing required documentation, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Employment Type: Regular, Full-Time
Pay Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Select and process the correct honeycomb materials per production orders

  • Set up and operate honeycomb expansion tables, dip tanks, and curing/stability ovens

  • Input accurate data into production machinery and scanning systems

  • Operate a forklift safely and in compliance with company policies

  • Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality requirements

  • Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures


Physical amp; Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods

  • Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and occasional dust

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring attention to detail


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

  • Basic computer skills (preferred)

  • Basic math skills

  • Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping/packaging, or heavy lifting environments (preferred)

  • Forklift experience (preferred or willing to be trained)


Schedule
  • Shift Work Required โ€“ must be available for assigned shift

    • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM โ€“ 2:00 PM

    • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM โ€“ 10:00 PM

    • 3rd Shift: Sunday โ€“ Thursday, 10:00 PM โ€“ 6:00 AM
