Job description

Joyce Koons Honda , one of the top Northern Virginia Honda dealerships, is seeking a Parts Advisor. We are a progressive, customer-focused automotive retailer located in Manassas, Virginia.

As Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting customers in the store, on the phone and/or by computer, to complete orders in a timely and professional manner. The advisor must be able to demonstrate knowledge of products and their applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for responding to parts orders and inquiries

  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers

  • Keep abreast of new products, features, accessories.

  • Understand terminology of the automobile industry.

  • Develop career skills through regular training and instruction.

  • Able to establish and maintain good working relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient and professional service.

Qualifications:

  • Considerable knowledge of Automobiles and their systems

  • Excellent communications skills – written and verbal

  • Attention to Detail

  • Five-day work week and rotating weekends

  • Able to repeatedly bend or stoop to floor level shelves

  • Ability to reach upper shelves with the use of a stool or ladder when necessary

  • Able to lift 50 pounds

  • Prior parts experience preferred

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

  • Must pass drug screen and background check
