The responsibilities of a Service Technician include diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles. They will have an ASE certificate and great communication skills.

Weatherford Honda is looking for a motivated and dependable Honda Certified Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team!

Responsibilities

As a Honda Certified Service Technician, you will:

  • Diagnose and repair Honda vehicles according to manufacturer standards
  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, fluid services, and inspections
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns using appropriate diagnostic equipment
  • Complete warranty and recall repairs according to Honda guidelines
  • Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and identify necessary or recommended repairs
  • Communicate repair findings clearly with Service Advisors
  • Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Follow dealership and manufacturer safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Keep up with new Honda technology, repair procedures, and manufacturer requirements
  • Participate in required training and continuing education
  • Work as part of a team to provide an excellent experience for our customers
What We're Looking For
  • Honda certification and/or previous Honda dealership technician experience preferred
  • Automotive repair and diagnostic experience
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic
